SCRIPTURES
The third & most important scripture named ASHTAANG HRIDAYAM by Maharishi Vaagbhatta comprises summary of Charak samhita, Sushrut Samhita & Ashtaang Sangraham.
The concepts in Ashtang Hridayam are explained so informatively that every person can apply its principles in their daily routine.
PARAMPARA’S
DHANVANTRI LEGACY – Lord Dhanvantri is said to be as incarnation of Lord Vishnu whom Lord Indra enlightened with anatomical & surgical aspects (i.e. SHALYA-TANTRA).
Maharishi Sushrut wrote his scripture which is named as SUSHRUT SAMHITA.
It describes all the surgical procedures & anatomical aspects

AATREYA LEGACY –In Aatreya parampara, Lord Indra enlightened the medicinal & pathological based knowledge to Punarvasu Aatreya who passed it to Maharshi aatreya who taught it to his 6 students viz. Agnivesh, Bhel, Kshaarpani, Haarit, Jatukarna & Parashara.
Agnivesh was most studious amongst them who created a scripture named AGNIVESH SAMHITA which in named as CHARAK SAMHITA in today’s world.
