AGNI

The most important component which controls the digestion & nutrition of our body is said to be as AGNI.

It lies in upper-left aspect of stomach.

It performs the following mechanisms:-

  • It ignites hunger,
  • Digests the injested food,
  • Bifurcates the nutritious elements from food consumed,
  • Expulse out the waste stuff remained after digestion, further provides nutrition & helps in development of DHAATUS.

Ayurved Clock:

Every day dosha gets aggravated in a particular time & has its effects on body accordingly:

  • 2 o’clock – 6 o’clock is the timings for VAATA where it gets aggravated & we its symptoms in the body
  • 6 o’clock – 10 o’clock is the KAPHA dominant period &
  • 10 o’clock – 2 o’clock is the PITTA dominant period.

That’s why a person needs to follow daily in a particular time during the influence of that particular dosha.
