  • Manas.

Few things to be followed:-

IMPORTANT THINGS TO BE FOLLOWED

P.ABHYANG – Massaging the foot soles before sleep.

NASYA – Applying 3-4 drops of any lubricants like medicated oils, desi cow ghee, etc.

SAUVIR-ANJAN – Applying black SURMA or black herbal ashes mixed with desi cow ghee on eye lids.

UDVARTAN – Applying herbal facial packs at face & on body once a week is must

PARYUSHIT ANNA – Soaking food stuffs over night aggravates vaat dosha Like sprouts. Hence, it should be avoided.

NA VEIG DHAARAN – Any natural pressures like urination, faecal matter, Sneeze, cough, thirst, hunger, etc. should be ceased. It will be discussed in the topic BAHAAV KO BEHNE DO

  • URINE: To detect sugar level if there is diabetic conditions in ancestoral history.
  • BLOOD: To detect hormonal imbalance, haemoglobin level, blood groups, HIV or HBs Ag conditions, any typhoid or malaria oriented symptoms
  • SPIT: For knowing history related to tuberculosis.
  • STOOL: For any worm oriented or intestinal disorder
  • ECG: To detect any heart disorder
  • USG: Defect in placenta, Improper structure of extremeties, head, bones of the baby.

NOTE: USG for gender detection is strictly prohibited which might lead bio-diversitical imbalance.

SHAT PAWLI

SHAT – 100 & PAVLI – Walking . Means Walking for 100 steps

Having a walk of 100 steps after 1 hr of meals  is said to be as SHAT-PAVLI. This plays a major role in digestion.

In earlier day’s, people use to go for a walk after dinner. This is significant as it improves digestion of the consumed food.

 Many families have a habit of playing out-door games after meals before sleeping. So if families are doing soo, they must play after 1.5 hours of dinner.

SHAT-PAVLI has a great effect in issues like Digestion, constipation, Pain in joints, gastric disorders, etc.

SLEEPING RULES

SLEEP DURING PREGNANCY

Ayurved says 3 main pillars for everyone to be healthy which are termed as TRAYA-UPASTAMBH.

So sleep is also one amongst them.

SLEEP:

It relaxes our body-mind & energizes them, but there are proper timings which gives relaxation. Not all the time sleeping gives relaxation.

Sleeping in day time will increase Kapha dosha in mother’s body rather than providing relaxation. So mother’s must avoid sleeping in day time.

Mother’s feeling to have rest, can rest in sitting posture by in a relaxing chair.

BEDSHEET’S & MATS:

It should be soft, dust-free.  Always use mats made by Kusha-grass.

Avoid sleeping in Air-conditioning room

Patanjali yog sutra describes ASHTAANG YOG:

  • Yama
  • Niyama
  • Aasan

By  these ashtaang yog regularly, mother’s praan-mai kosha gets energized & she start’s getting intution’s of baby’s emotions.

Timing of sleep & diet are inter-related. There has to be minimum gap of 3 hrs in sleeping & dinner.

This statement seems to be very common, but it has deep impact on the body which aggravates many doshas if not followed.

Modern psychological study says sleep from 10pm-12am gives relaxation of 6 hours. So it is must for children to sleep by 9:30pm facing east for children & south for adults.

Students who prefer doing night study is totally incorrect. So they should go prefer studying from morning4:30 am at the time of BRAMHA-MUHURT.

Along with lifestyle & diet, EXERCISE is also a major factor for mother.

Few exercises like flour pounding, systematic breathing exercises, should be done.

Exertion oriented exercise like surya-namaskar, Chakraasana, bhujanga aasan which exerts pressure on womb has to be avoided.

These exercises has to be done after 1st trimester which avoids risk of abortion.

Intention of sleep is to relax body & mind, but not to aggravate the dosha’s.

So everyone should remember Sleep during day time always aggravates KAPHA dosha in our body.

Relaxation is attained only when person sleeps at appropriate time in night. (Note- Not late night sleep.

All the eating & sleeping actions should be done by following the time of doshas. How & when will be explained in online sessions.

DRESSING & CLOTHES DURING PREGNANCY 2

Colours has a deep impact on baby as well as mother.

Light contrast colours radiate calm, peaceful & positive energies.That’s why white or any light colours are worn in temples.

Dark contrast colours radiate severe rajas & tamas vibrations which impacts on baby’s emotional level accordingly.

So mother willing to have a saint oriented peaceful, mentally contented baby should always wear light white cotton clothes.

Mother willing to have baby having freedom-fighter oriented mentality should wear red or saint-orangish colour light clothes.
