SCRIPTURES
The third & most important scripture named ASHTAANG HRIDAYAM by Maharishi Vaagbhatta comprises summary of Charak samhita, Sushrut Samhita & Ashtaang Sangraham.
The concepts in Ashtang Hridayam are explained so informatively that every person can apply its principles in their daily routine.
PARAMPARA’S
DHANVANTRI LEGACY – Lord Dhanvantri is said to be as incarnation of Lord Vishnu whom Lord Indra enlightened with anatomical & surgical aspects (i.e. SHALYA-TANTRA).
Maharishi Sushrut wrote his scripture which is named as SUSHRUT SAMHITA.
It describes all the surgical procedures & anatomical aspects

AATREYA LEGACY –In Aatreya parampara, Lord Indra enlightened the medicinal & pathological based knowledge to Punarvasu Aatreya who passed it to Maharshi aatreya who taught it to his 6 students viz. Agnivesh, Bhel, Kshaarpani, Haarit, Jatukarna & Parashara.
Agnivesh was most studious amongst them who created a scripture named AGNIVESH SAMHITA which in named as CHARAK SAMHITA in today’s world.
DAKSHA PRAJAPATI
Daksh-Prajapati passed this knowledge to twins having faces identical to that of HORSE –ASHWINI-KUMAAR who are known as physician/doctor of gods. It is said that Ashwini-Kumar cured dislocation of shoulder joint of lord Indra.
They gained this knowledge from Daksh Prajapati & forwarded it to lord INDRA
Lord Indra passed it in 2 legacies namely- AATREYA PARAMPARAA & DHANVANTRI PARAMPARA.
LORD BRAMHA
In ancient time during deva-kaal (reign of lords) disorders came into existence & people started facing health problems & were in urgent need of remedy.
So all the Sages & experts in those days were seeking for remedial measures.
So everyone went to Lord Bramha to seek remedial measure for itt.
Knowledge of ayurved was already in existence, Lord Brahma recited, recollected & represented it to king Daksh-Prajapati

SUVARNA PRAASHAN
Gold has strong immune-boosting properties
That’s why king’s in ancient times used to keep contact with gold.
There is a description of SUVARNA-PRAASHAN in our scriptures where we prepare tasty paste having gold ash in it.
Few herbs in it are:
Vekhand + Desi cow ghee + Natural honey in unequal proportion + gold ash & many other herb.
This combination is had during PUSHYA-NAKSHATRA where effect of having such immune-boosting is maximum. So baby is made to have it in that time.
