It comprises of 8 sub-streams namely-
- Kaaya-Chikitsa-TreatementBy ingesting medicenes.
- Baala-Chikitsa – Treatement of children
- Graha-Chikitsa–Treatement by chanting sacred mantras.
- Urdhvaang-Chikitsa -Treatement dealing with facial disorders
- Shalyatantra–Treatement in surgical disorders
- Danshtra-Chikitsa – Treatement In poison consumed cases.
- Jaraa-Chikitsa – Treatement for maintaining young looks
- Vrushya-chikitsa–Treatement aspects for having a healthy child.
